With the holiday season on your door step and the year coming to an end we have seen so many inspiring AMF Challenge Projects! Look at how these school are spreading holiday cheer:

Turpin High School:

On November 25th, 2014 Turpin had their 2nd annual “Fun With 911” event which is also their AMF Challenge project this year. They raised over $4,500 compared to their $1,500 last year. They also had over $1,200 in donation from places like Jeff Ruby Steakhouse, Dick’s and Chipotle. All the money that was raised during their event and fundraising went to the fire and police departments. An equal amount was given to both. Their service challenge project is on FIRE!

Western Brown High School:

Western Brown has given the AMF Challenge a whole new spin. So far, in the month of October they had 2 “High-Five Fridays” where students and teachers stood outside of the students buses and high-fived each of them to make a positive start to their day.

Also in the month of November, Western Brown had a post-it campaign where on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving the students had to write a positive saying on a post-it note. Each post-it was then posted on a locker or door to spark the students morale and impact the student body positively. They plan to take their project month by month with a new theme each month to make a difference in their community.
