Welcome back, Readers! Mya, here.

Another year, another Youth Leadership Seminar in the books. I want to first take a moment to thank everyone who attended #BlueprintCincy on October 9th. I hope you had as much fun as the AMF team did! For those of you who couldn’t attend, here’s a quick recap for you:

With over 1,000 students in attendance from more than 70 schools, YLS was a day of coming together to create a blueprint for success! We had the privilege of having Nick Jackson of Speaklove as our emcee and heard from inspiring speakers including Damian Hoskins of Artswave, Jim Buss of Northern Kentucky University, Daniel Katz of NoCow, and Dr. Chris Tuell of Lindner Center of HOPE. Students also participated in breakout sessions where they discussed ideas for their AMF Service Challenge Projects and interacted with students from different schools. And who can forget KDrama’s performance?! He had us on our feet and singing along in between speakers. All in all, YLS was an incredible experience.

But don’t just take it from us…See what some of our student leaders had to say about the event!

Check out what our speakers had to say about this experience:

From speakers to breakout sessions to the biggest dance party YLS has ever seen, every student walked away with a new perspective, a will to lead, and inspiration and hope for the future, which is what Youth Leadership Seminar is all about.  We hope to see you and your classmates at the 2020 Youth Leadership Seminar!

Tune in next week for some AMF Service Challenge tips on how to make your project the best it can be.

Until next time,

Mya
