INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Join Anthony Muñoz in Making an “Impact for Eternity!”
The Anthony Muñoz Foundation is currently seeking hard-working and talented students from all academic disciplines who share a passion for impacting the youth of the Tri-State region. Internships are limited, so apply as soon as possible. The following internship positions are available:
Program Planning + Communications Interns
- Develop and execute external communications to raise awareness/promote opportunities, track engagement and report against program/event objectives
- Process and manage applications, nominations, and/or registrations for designated programs/events
- Support event planning and day-of execution to deliver high-quality, impactful attendee experiences
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, businesses, and community organizations to drive engagement, market involvement opportunities, and encourage donations
- Represent AMF as a brand ambassador during Foundation and community events
*All Program Planning + Communications Interns share the core responsibilities (listed above). There are multiple Program Planning + Communications Interns per semester, each responsible for designated programs and/or events.
Social Media + Content Development Intern
- Translate the Foundation’s brand, mission, and programming into compelling short- and long-form content
- Produce high quality, engaging content specific to each AMF program/event while maintaining the established brand voice throughout each campaign, ensuring consistent digital/social presence across platforms
- Maintain AMF social media platforms; optimize content by platform to leverage its features and extend our reach
- Track, analyze, and report on social media KPIs; interpret data and translate into actionable insights
- Capture, create, and publish live content during AMF events
*There is one Social Media + Content Development Intern per semester.
Graphic Design Intern
- Design digital and print materials for AMF programs/events (marketing collateral, social media/email graphics, camp/event apparel, event programs, presentations, signage, etc.)
- Produce high-quality deliverables that align with established brand standards and maintain brand integrity
- Contribute to creation and development of branding for select programs/events, including logo design and brand style guides
- Build and maintain replicable templates for presentations, social media, and other materials
*There is one Graphic Design Intern per semester.
Requirements & Expectations
Interested students must meet the following requirements and expectations in order to be considered for any available internship opportunity.
- All internships are on-site positions. Interns should have the ability to get to and from the office.
- All interns are required to work 15 hours per week. Intern office hours may be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Interns must be available to work additional hours and weekends as needed per our event schedule. Program Planning + Communications interns and Social Media + Content Development intern are required to work all AMF events. The Graphic Design intern may be asked, though not required, to work AMF events.
- Most internships are a minimum of one semester. Internship duration is flexible based on our event schedule, which may not exactly align with the duration of the academic semester.
- All internships are non-paid positions; however, candidates may receive class credit as approved by their respective academic institutions.
- All interns must be able to pass a background check and drug test taken during their first week of their internship.
